Eastbourne Pier

Eastbourne Pier
Piers were popular places in Victorian times, used for taking fresh air, having tea, or angling. In the evenings there were dances, and often a variety show in a small theatre. Eastbourne boasts one of the best preserved piers on the south coast of England.
